In addition to overseeing freight functions, the Store Operations Specialist is tasked with maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the receiving area, following the 5S methodology (Sort, Straighten, Systematic cleanup, Standardize, and Sustain). The SOS leads the team in executing these tasks, ensuring that all specialists are focused on their designated areas. This role also involves performing cashier duties accurately, processing transactions in accordance with company policies, and ensuring compliance with incident reporting protocols. The SOS must be proactive in performing store recovery tasks and housekeeping duties as needed during stocking efforts. This includes operating all necessary equipment safely and efficiently, while also ensuring a safe working and shopping environment.
