About the position

The Store Planning CAD Designer role at Insight Global involves working with a large retail corporation to design store layouts using AutoCAD. This fully remote position requires candidates to be local to the Atlanta area, as the team meets quarterly in the office. Responsibilities

• Assist with designing store layouts using AutoCAD 2D.
• Redraw current store layouts and make modifications in CAD.
• Manage various projects related to store planning.
• Utilize Dynamic Blocks in AutoCAD for creating gondolas, end caps, and refrigeration units.
• Communicate effectively and follow up on project progress.

Requirements

• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in space planning or technical drafting.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle fast-paced work.
• Self-motivated and driven personality.
• Ability to work as a team player in a remote production-driven environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
• Experience with creating and modifying Dynamic Blocks.
• Retail experience, particularly in space planning.
• Familiarity with Facilities Space Management.
