About the position

As a Store Product Sampling Representative, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for customers at Walmart. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with shoppers, promote products, and provide samples to encourage purchases. This part-time position is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and creating a lively atmosphere in the store. You will be responsible for setting up sampling stations, distributing samples, and ensuring that customers have a positive experience while learning about the products being offered. The role requires you to be energetic, approachable, and capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment. You will also be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization at your sampling station, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Additionally, you will utilize your smartphone or tablet to record your work and report on the sampling activities after each shift. This position offers flexible hours, with the opportunity to work 2-3 shifts per week, particularly during the busy weekend hours. No prior experience is necessary, as ongoing training and support will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and promote products through sampling.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability to work 2-3 shifts per week, including at least 2 days during Friday-Sunday.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs comfortably.
• Ability to stand for 4-6 hours while distributing samples.
