Responsibilities

• Processing freight and assisting with inventory management.
• Taking price changes and markdowns as needed.
• Balancing the cash register according to company policy.
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions.
• Efficiently bagging merchandise after completing a sale.
• Handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions correctly.
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks.
• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers and thanking them for their business.
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Assisting the Store Manager with loss prevention procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
