About The Position

The Store Sales Associate position at PPG in Tuscaloosa, AL, is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service to retail and contractor customers. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assess needs of wholesale and retail customers as they come into the store offering solutions.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer requests.
• Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing.
• Ensure the store is always clean and stocked with paint and other store products.
• Process orders and payments received in-person, by phone, online, and/or email.
• Use POS system to receive payments and cash out customers.
• May be trained to make local deliveries using a company vehicle.
