About the position
The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with bank policies and procedures. This role involves managing the store in the absence of other managers, driving customer service and sales objectives, and leading a team to enhance customer relationships and experiences. The supervisor will also handle customer escalations and ensure effective service delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage the store in the absence of other managers, including the teller side and customer escalations.
- Drive and reinforce sales and advice activities to create personalized customer experiences.
- Provide leadership and work direction to ensure effective delivery of service and advice activities.
- Monitor workflows for the teller team and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Educate the team on bank operational policies and procedures to manage risk effectively.
- Engage with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake, maintaining NMLS registration.
- Lead, develop, and coach the team on delivering exceptional customer service and advice.
- Utilize customer relationship tools to advocate for customer needs and promote financial literacy.
- Acquire and deepen the store customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales.
- Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to provide direction and coaching.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain order in the store.
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, and Excel.

- Experience in financial services or banking industry.
