About the position

The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with policies and procedures. This role involves managing the store in the absence of other managers, driving sales and customer service objectives, and leading a team to deepen customer relationships through personalized service and advice. The Store Supervisor also ensures adherence to regulatory guidelines and operational standards while fostering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage the store in the absence of other managers, including running the teller side and handling customer escalations.
  • Drive and reinforce sales and advice activities to create personalized customer experiences.
  • Provide leadership and work direction to ensure effective delivery of service and advice activities.
  • Monitor workflows for the teller team and platform, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities.
  • Educate the team on bank operational policies and procedures to manage risk and protect the bank and customers.
  • Engage with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake, maintaining active registration with NMLS.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the team on delivering effective customer service and product advice.
  • Utilize customer relationship tools to advocate for customer needs and promote financial literacy.
  • Acquire and deepen the store customer base through proactive sales and service activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales.
  • Notary License preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to provide direction and coaching.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain order in the store.
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, and Excel.
