About the position
As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while engaging with pets. This role involves cashier duties, stocking shelves, and caring for animals in the store. You will be part of a team that is passionate about pets and dedicated to helping customers find the right products for their furry friends.
Responsibilities
- Process neighbors' purchases accurately and efficiently as a cashier.
- Provide information about the Preferred Pet Club membership to customers.
- Safely unload delivery trucks and stock shelves as a stocker.
- Carry heavy items such as kibble and aquariums to customers' cars.
- Care for pets in the store, including cleaning habitats and feeding animals.
- Answer customer questions regarding animal care and pet ownership.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Ability to lift heavy items (40-65 lbs.) and stand for long periods of time.
- Pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
- Knowledgeable about animals and pet products.
