About the position

As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while engaging with pets. This role involves various tasks including cashier duties, stocking shelves, and caring for animals in the store. The position is designed for pet lovers who are passionate about helping customers find the right products for their pets and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Process neighbors' purchases accurately and efficiently as a cashier.
• Provide information about the Preferred Pet Club membership to customers.
• Safely unload delivery trucks and stock shelves as a stocker.
• Assist customers by carrying heavy items like kibble and aquariums to their cars.
• Care for pets in the store, including cleaning habitats and feeding animals.
• Answer customer questions regarding animal care and pet ownership.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to lift heavy items (40-65 lbs.) and stand for long periods of time.
• Pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
