About the position
The Storekeeper III position at the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Environmental Services involves planning and supervising the management and control of the property, supply, and service program for the Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Division. The role requires developing and maintaining stock controls to ensure operational continuity and effective communication with employees, government officials, and contractors.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain stock controls to ensure continuity of operations and maintenance.
- Maintain effective communication and working relationships with employees, government officials, and contractors.
Requirements
- Equivalent to graduation from high school.
- Four (4) years of computerized storekeeping experience, two (2) of which must have involved responsibility for a storeroom operation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of storekeeping; purchasing rules and regulations; and the ability to plan, establish and maintain storekeeping systems.
- Possession of a valid Hawaii State driver's license (Type 3) prior to appointment.
- Possession of a valid forklift certification (Class 5) prior to operation.
