About the position

The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for managing supplies in the warehouse and ensuring timely delivery to various departments and off-site clinics. This role involves overseeing stock management, filling requisitions, and maintaining an organized supply environment. The clerk will also handle incoming freight, manage discrepancies, and assist with inventory processes, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplies in the warehouse and ensure timely delivery to NTMC departments and off-site clinics.
• Fill requisitions from nursing areas and the Buyer based on patient charge sheets.
• Deliver supplies in a covered cart, bin, or box to maintain cleanliness and prevent damage.
• Organize supply rooms, cabinets, and drawers to ensure neatness and order.
• Document low stock levels and discrepancies on requisition paperwork.
• Process receiving documents into Meditech upon product arrival.
• Manage incoming freight and ensure proper documentation and condition of items received.
• Perform weekly cycle counting of products and monitor expiration dates.
• Assist the buyer with daily patient charge sheets and recalled items.
• Act as a hospital courier, delivering supplies and picking up items as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred but not required.
