About the position

As a Senior Consulting DevOps Engineer at Stratascale, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients in the Fortune 1000. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure the successful execution of agile projects. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable and robust solutions using cloud-native services, as well as implementing DevOps and DevSecOps platforms. Your extensive experience at the enterprise level with tools such as Terraform and GitLab will be crucial in authoring bespoke modules, managing state, and implementing best practices for code reviews and quality gates. In this role, you will also focus on security best practices within the CI/CD supply chain, integrating third-party tools like OKTA with DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the scalability of runner environments for CI/CD. You will be expected to plan and execute large-scale multi-workload application migrations to the public cloud, collaborating directly with client stakeholders to understand their technical needs and translating them into user stories and detailed requirements. Utilizing the GCP cloud platform, you will architect and deploy solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available, while providing technical leadership to junior engineers on best practices and cloud service capabilities. Your responsibilities will also include identifying opportunities for process improvements, developing reusable blueprints and templates to streamline client projects, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team. This position is remote, allowing for a home office setup as determined by Stratascale management, and reports to the Manager of Digital Professional Services within the Stratascale department.
