About the position

The Strategic Account Executive at Celonis is responsible for generating new business opportunities within enterprise accounts, specifically focusing on Strategic Accounts in the Diversified sector. This role involves managing a fixed number of accounts, engaging with C-level executives, and driving the end-to-end sales cycle while collaborating cross-functionally to meet account needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a fixed number of accounts using a land-and-expand model.
  • Engage with cross Line-of-Business at C-level and below.
  • Represent the entire Celonis suite of solutions including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sustainability, and Opportunity Management.
  • Hold an individual revenue target for closing six-figure deals within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with partners such as consulting firms and SaaS vendors.
  • Work with a virtual team including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, customer success managers, and implementation partners.

Requirements

  • Industry relevant selling experience.
  • Extensive experience selling enterprise software at C-level in a new business focused field sales role.
  • Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a range of client accounts.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving, high-growth environment with a positive and creative mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to be collaborative and inclusive, embracing diversity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in process mining technology or SaaS sales.
  • Familiarity with consulting firms and their operations.
