About the position

The Strategic Account Executive role at Roche focuses on driving sales objectives within the Tissue Diagnostics franchise. This position is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts in Anatomic Pathology labs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets in a specified geographic area, primarily South Florida. The role requires strategic planning, effective communication, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet account performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives in targeted Anatomic Pathology labs.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts while developing new accounts in the assigned geography.
  • Develop partnerships with key decision-makers including C-Suite executives and Lab Managers.
  • Conduct value quantification presentations to potential customers.
  • Coordinate company personnel involvement to meet account performance objectives.
  • Lead strategic account planning processes with mutual performance objectives and financial targets.
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution through coordination with company executives and Customer Service Representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant and proven complex sales experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including impactful presentations.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Capital sales experience.
  • Pathology/Digital Pathology sales experience.
  • Experience working with multiple call points (lab managers, directors, clinicians, C-suite).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
