About the position

As a Strategic Account Executive at Well Data Labs, you will serve as a trusted advisor to current and prospective customers in the oil and gas industry, helping them achieve their business goals through the adoption of advanced software solutions. This role emphasizes building strong relationships, understanding customer challenges, and driving growth through effective sales strategies and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with prospective customers to understand their unique challenges and goals.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive adoption and increase platform usage for oil and gas accounts.
  • Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to create digital strategies for target accounts.
  • Define and execute strategic targeted sales campaigns in specific regions and sectors of the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Take a solution-oriented approach to win new business and meet customer needs.
  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Identify and define goals and KPIs with customers to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead the renewal process and work to prevent attrition.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Completions data life cycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling enterprise technology products to upstream oil & gas companies.
  • Experience in technology/SaaS related sales is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage a sales process predictably and replicate efforts while being flexible to change processes when needed.
  • Strong aptitude for learning complex technical concepts and simplifying them for effective communication.
  • History of selling complex solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with machine learning applications in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
