About the position

The Strategic Accounts Manager at Ferno is responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas by effectively planning, developing, and delivering products to the EMS, Fire, and Hospital markets. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key strategic accounts and ambulance dealers/builders, ensuring excellent customer service and support for US-based customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and call on strategic accounts within the US Market, including private ambulance services, ambulance dealers, and builders.
  • Support, present, close, and provide excellent customer service to US-based customers regarding all Ferno products.
  • Manage and grow key strategic accounts and ambulance dealers/builders.
  • Call on executive-level decision makers in private and municipal ambulance services, fire departments, hospitals, and other key accounts to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Bring members of evaluation and selection committees together for presentations and demonstrations.
  • Participate in local and national trade shows.
  • Maintain regular communication with field sales professionals, professional organizations, and customers to stay updated on market trends and evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage a large multi-state geographic region, requiring frequent travel.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction through teamwork and empowerment, continuously seeking ways to exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement account plans with short-term objectives and long-term goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience required.
  • Documented track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Must be a hunter with a competitive drive.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with large accounts with multiple tiers and large dollar amounts (over $1 million).
  • Candidate must be located within a major metropolitan city close to an international airport.
