About the position

The Strategic Account Manager at Medica is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients. This role involves coaching clients on Medica's programs and products, ensuring effective implementation, and resolving service issues promptly. The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work, as well as community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Coach clients on all aspects of Medica's programs and products.
  • Ensure effective and timely resolution of service issues.
  • Implement client accounts and manage the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with various management levels to address client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of work experience beyond degree.
  • Experience in large ground self-funded health plan products and the medical benefits carrier industry.
  • MN Life/Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Account implementation experience preferred.
  • Experience with or understanding of insurance brokerage preferred.
  • SalesForce experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel.
  • Presentation experience.
  • Project management skills.
