About the position

The Strategic Account Specialist for Healthcare at Spectrum Enterprise is responsible for managing and developing relationships with healthcare clients, providing tailored fiber-based solutions to meet their unique technology and communication needs. This role involves daily prospecting, account management, and delivering product proposals to decision-makers, all while navigating the healthcare procurement processes. The position emphasizes professional development through extensive training and offers a dynamic work environment focused on client growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Generate opportunities and build a sales funnel through daily prospecting.
  • Outline combinations of fiber-based solutions for new and existing healthcare accounts.
  • Partner with small to medium healthcare clients to provide dedicated account management.
  • Travel and consult with established and prospective clients to develop product solutions.
  • Deliver product proposals and presentations to decision-makers and conduct negotiations to close deals.
  • Self-generate leads using strategic prospecting techniques.
  • Maintain accounts in Salesforce to report sales activities and client data.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of sales experience as a proven sales performer selling data, voice cloud or video solutions.
  • Three or more years of outside telecommunications-related sales experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong network-building, negotiation, closing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and learn quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in the healthcare vertical.
  • History of selling telecommunications products B2B.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
