About the position

As a Strategic Alliance Sales Director at PwC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's sales and marketing efforts, particularly in the Cyber sector. This full-time position is based in Florham Park, NJ, and involves a significant amount of travel, up to 60%. Your primary focus will be on positioning the PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing communication programs and media events that promote and sell PwC's services. Additionally, you will contribute to evaluating pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace. In this role, you will be part of the Business Development team, which supports PwC and its clients by developing effective sales strategies and executing tactics to close sales opportunities. You will manage sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, assisting account teams in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales leads. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating the utilization of account management methodologies and business development tools to enhance sales effectiveness. As a Director, you will be expected to lead a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will support your team in evolving their ways of working, identifying market gaps, and creating value propositions. Your leadership will foster an environment where people and technology can thrive together, and you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships that add value to the firm. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, or relevant experience at PwC.
  • General Education Development (GED) required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated thought leader-level abilities in professional services selling.
  • Extensive knowledge of professional services selling and ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Proven success in an individual contributor sales role within a professional services or technology solution organization.
  • Understanding of industry-specific issues and ability to engage with executive-level clients.
  • Experience in complex Alliance management and team selling.
