About the position

As a Strategic Alliance Sales Director at PwC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy and execution for Oracle's OCI offerings. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with a strong background in sales and marketing, particularly within the technology sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communication programs and media events that promote PwC's brand and services, while also contributing to pricing strategies in the marketplace. Your role will involve managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, assisting account teams in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales leads, and coordinating the use of account management methodologies and business development tools. In this leadership position, you will work collaboratively with a team of problem solvers to address complex business challenges from strategy to execution. You will be expected to support your team in evolving and improving their ways of working, while also identifying market gaps and opportunities to create compelling value propositions. Your ability to foster an environment where people and technology can thrive together will be crucial in achieving the firm's objectives. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and technology alliances, ensuring that the firm's code of ethics and business conduct is upheld at all times. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, including initiating contacts, pursuing prospects, and effectively qualifying and scoping opportunities. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of client business issues and align them with PwC's service capabilities to drive revenue growth. Your leadership will be essential in coaching teams through complex sales processes, overcoming objections, and executing targeted relationship and account development strategies. Responsibilities

  • Manage sales pursuits and the sales pipeline for Oracle's OCI offerings.
  • Assist account teams in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales leads.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, or relevant experience at PwC.
  • General Education Development (GED) or higher education.
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of professional services selling.
  • Proven record of success in individual contributor sales roles within professional services or technology solution organizations.
  • Ability to engage with executive-level clients and technology-focused resources.
  • Experience in complex alliance management and team selling.
