The Strategic Buyer at Rolls-Royce will play a crucial role in the Indirect Category Management Team, focusing on Site Professional Services, including logistics, facilities management, and construction projects. This position involves developing procurement strategies, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure a high-performing supply chain that is essential for the company's success. The role emphasizes sustainability and digital transformation within procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead sourcing activities from proposal to contract signature, including negotiation and cost analysis.
• Manage contract management, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements with suppliers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with relevant functions to build and maintain category strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance management and cost reduction activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree with 4+ years of operational, procurement, or logistical experience, OR Bachelor's with 2+ years of experience, OR Master's degree, OR JD/PhD, OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in procurement, logistics, or operational roles.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Site Professional Services, logistics, facilities management, and construction projects.
• Strong negotiation skills and strategic sourcing experience.
