The Strategic Communications Senior Consultant role at Deloitte focuses on creating and delivering impactful communication strategies that support organizational change, transformation, and business growth. Responsibilities

• Analyze client business objectives and identify key communication challenges and opportunities.
• Help inform and build strategic narratives by gathering relevant frameworks and shaping drafts.
• Build tailored communications plans that capture audience segmentation, channel strategy, content cadence, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans that align with client priorities and track progress.
• Communicate linear, clear thinking through deck storyboarding and drafting.
• Follow and understand communications industry trends, emerging tech, and tools.
• Contribute to the growth of Deloitte's Strategic Communications practice by drafting proposals for new client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism.
• 3-5 years of experience in a communications role.
• Prior consulting experience.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across mediums and platforms.
• Proven experience developing and executing communications strategies and plans for a large business or organization.
• Ability to travel 0-25% based on work and client needs.

• Previous experience advising client executives on creating compelling stories that tie initiatives to overall business strategy.
• Ability to interact and communicate creatively across various stakeholder groups.
• Previous human capital consulting experience supporting clients.
• Previous experience managing interns or junior staff.
