About the position

FCCS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Communications Manager to lead and enhance the organization's communications efforts. This role involves developing compelling website content, creating impactful presentations, and managing client communications for FCCS' Risk Management and Insurance Services (RMIS) business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong grasp of digital and corporate communications, working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Craft clear, consistent, and professional communications to clients, including newsletters, updates, and strategic announcements.
  • Partner with client-facing teams to ensure communication strategies enhance client relationships and provide value.
  • Develop templates and guidelines for effective client communication across various channels.
  • Create high-quality, persuasive presentations for internal and external use.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a strategic communications plan that supports company goals.
  • Lead cross-departmental project teams to manage project objectives, communication strategies, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop, write, and edit website content that aligns with brand voice and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate communications, content development, or a similar role required.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and digital communications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience in graphic design programs such as Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva, or comparable programs.
  • Preferred familiarity with risk management and insurance concepts, such as underwriting, claims management, policy structures or regulatory compliance.
