About the position

The Strategic Engineering Program Manager (EPM) role is responsible for overseeing post-ramp support for iPhone systems, ensuring effective collaboration among cross-functional engineering teams. This position requires a strong technical background and excellent organizational skills to manage engineering issues related to new qualifications, mass production, and field returns, while also communicating risks and priorities to management.

Responsibilities

• Drive and align cross-functional engineering resources to execute company priorities.
• Work with cross-functional team DRIs and China OEM/CM teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Identify, evaluate, and drive various activities while communicating risks, priorities, and schedules.
• Partner with NPI EPM team in next-generation product development.
• Respond quickly to changes in overall goals, schedules, and architecture.
• Identify risks, explore solutions, reach consensus, and execute mitigations efficiently.

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall industry experience.
• Experience working with China OEMs in high volume production products.
• Strong multidisciplinary and technical background.
• Impeccable organizational, multi-tasking, and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• BS ME/EE degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with consumer electronic products including displays, batteries, WiFi/BT, cellular, input devices, enclosures, silicon, and/or mass storage.
