About the position

As a Strategic Financial Analyst at Google Cloud, you will play a crucial role in ensuring sound financial decisions are made within the organization. Your responsibilities will include modeling business scenarios, tracking performance metrics, and providing in-depth analysis to support strategic company decisions. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on details while creatively solving big-picture challenges. Your work will be integral to the Finance organization, which acts as a key partner and advisor to various business units.

Responsibilities

• Lead LRP (Long Range Planning)/AOP (Annual Budget) for the Google Cloud Platform and Go-To-Market teams in Cloud.
• Lead key strategic investment projects.
• Lead process improvement projects across Cloud Finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial modeling, financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function.
• Experience in spend management and budget planning cycles.
• Experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry, different roles, and incentives.
• Ability to set objectives and drive to results while building long-term relationships across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and technical skills.
