About the position

As a Strategic Growth (Talent), Technical Recruiter at Via, you will be instrumental in enhancing and operationalizing talent processes within a people-first organization. Your role will involve collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and attract top engineering talent, with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. You will implement innovative strategies for candidate engagement and experience, contributing significantly to Via's ambitious hiring goals as the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and create strategies for candidate outreach.
  • Proactively map, track, and source top technical talent across major US markets, leveraging strong research skills to become a subject matter expert in industry trends.
  • Build strong, diverse, and inclusive candidate pools using various sourcing techniques.
  • Make data-driven decisions using relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and demonstrate results.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive and fair interview process, leveraging feedback and data-driven insights to refine it accordingly.
  • Conduct initial conversations and preliminary interviews with candidates across teams and functions.
  • Create a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the interview process.
  • Develop robust internal processes to optimize the efficacy, agility, and impact of the Strategic Growth function.
  • Champion the team's commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of technical recruiting experience at a high growth company.
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to grow in a fast-moving People Operations function.
  • Results-driven with motivation to meet and exceed goals.
  • Reliable and independent, able to manage high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to find the right tone in every situation and enjoy working with others.
  • Analytical and innovative problem-solver, approaching new challenges with creativity.
  • Technically savvy, with familiarity with Boolean operators and eagerness to explore new platforms.
