Blackstone’s Strategic Incentives Group is a fully integrated, global team which manages the global cycle of employee compensation and fund investments and the firm’s financial, compliance, operational and risk positioning of these incentives. The core focus of the group is to originate and execute the tactics and strategies to drive business performance. The role will gain broad exposure across the firm and collaborate with various business and corporate groups while searching for strategic ways to enhance firmwide initiatives, processes and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models
  • Prepare firmwide compensation forecasts, highlight/explain variances and understand trends
  • Perform strategic analyses and special projects, and execute group initiatives
  • Leverage an understanding of the impact of various proposals on firm’s financials to perform insightful analysis
  • Prepare profitability and compensation materials across all Blackstone businesses to be shared with Senior Management (President, CEO, CAO and CFO)
  • Assist in enhancing reporting processes, analytics and operations
  • Implement program enhancements or updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment and handle multiple projects
  • Possesses a strong work ethic, professional integrity, a positive attitude and is highly organized
  • Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Excel
