About the position

The Strategic Marketing Manager for the Clutches & Brakes Division will play a crucial role in shaping the company's thought leadership in both current and emerging markets. This remote position involves collaborating with business development and product management teams to develop and implement global growth strategies that deliver unique value propositions and achieve sustained sales growth. The manager will provide market-oriented analysis, execute customer segmentation, and lead marketing communication efforts to support strategic planning and drive global sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business development and product management teams to develop, prioritize, and deploy key growth initiatives within targeted industry segments.
  • Analyze potential market opportunities in alignment with PM and BDM teams to provide a solid basis for investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain unique sources of market intelligence for target industries, including segment-specific size, trends, and technology drivers.
  • Direct the development of economic, market, and competitive intelligence analysis to support strategic planning initiatives and evaluate ongoing market growth.
  • Work cross-functionally to support the development of the annual strategic plan.
  • Develop marketing communication strategies to drive growth in targeted global end markets.
  • Provide marketing leadership focused on customer solutions and drive sales growth through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Work with analysts to identify new leads and align with PMs to prioritize those leads for the global commercial team.
  • Create sales enablement tools for enhanced customer engagement in collaboration with product management and marketing teams.
  • Assist product managers with industry/portfolio analysis to maintain product roadmaps and enhance competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of product marketing, product management, or business strategy experience in a B2B industrial manufacturing enterprise.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Marketing or Engineering; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of delivering growth through superior strategy building and industrial marketing.
  • Direct experience within targeted vertical markets such as Mining & Metals, Energy, Marine, and others is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and confident communication skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and develop strategies based on limited information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in highly engineered products.
  • Familiarity with market research skills to identify growth opportunities.
