About the position

As the Manager of Preventive Care and Customer Marketing at Antech Diagnostics, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive Preventative Care program aimed at enhancing compliance within veterinary clinics. This position requires a strategic thinker who can blend creativity with a deep understanding of veterinary operations and diagnostics. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, corporate accounts, and various stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of marketing initiatives that drive growth and improve client compliance with diagnostics recommendations. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify the needs of veterinary practices, leading the creation of educational programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies through data analysis. This role is essential in positioning Antech as a leader in the veterinary diagnostics market, leveraging innovative marketing tools and direct-to-consumer strategies to engage pet owners and veterinary professionals alike.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to understand the needs and behaviors of veterinary practices regarding diagnostics compliance.
  • Lead the creation and execution of industry-recognized above-brand education and marketing programs aimed at increasing compliance with diagnostics recommendations.
  • Develop strategies to effectively compete against major industry players, identifying unique selling points and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement, sales teams, and national/corporate account teams to ensure effective implementation of compliance programs.
  • Provide necessary training, materials, and support to sales representatives and account managers.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including presentations to executive teams and participation in industry events.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve program goals and deliver a strong return on investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; specialization in healthcare marketing is an added advantage.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in healthcare, veterinary diagnostics industry/research, and/or (large/multi-site) veterinary hospital administration.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools, data analytics software, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degrees: DVM/LVT strongly preferred, MBA preferred.
  • Direct experience in the veterinary industry whether in clinical practice, veterinary pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or related fields is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
  • Active participation in relevant industry associations, networks, and professional groups within veterinary or healthcare marketing fields.
