As a Strategic Operations Analyst, you will engage in a variety of analytical tasks aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of functional programs. Your primary responsibilities will include applying both qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to identify and resolve issues within these programs. You will be expected to document planning and programming decisions in formats that meet established requirements, ensuring that all information and recommendations are relevant, adequate, sustainable, attainable, accurate, and complete. This role requires a deep dive into analyzing, developing, and evaluating issues, ultimately leading to the formulation of recommendations that address substantive problems within the Department of Defense's Major Variety of DOTMLPF functional programs. In addition to analytical tasks, you will participate in the development of systems and programs, making recommendations for modifications that align with doctrine, tactics, and operational concepts. Your involvement in strategic planning will be crucial as you work to improve organizational direction and focus, utilizing various strategic planning tools and techniques. This position is integral to the operational success of the organization, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in work operations. The role also entails a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time, which may involve attending meetings, conferences, or other events relevant to your duties. You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity, as the position requires obtaining and maintaining a Secret security clearance.
