About the position

The Strategic Operations Coordinator is a fully competent professional contributor responsible for leading and coordinating organization-driven strategic operations. This role requires the individual to work independently on large, moderately complex projects, defining project scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget based on customer priorities. The Coordinator will be tasked with coordinating project activities and resources, establishing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and communicating effectively to influence others. Additionally, the Coordinator provides guidance to entry-level professionals and implements minor changes to improve area effectiveness. In this position, the individual will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A deep understanding of Purdue University's institutional structure, including its academic and nonacademic components, is essential. The ability to develop positive working relationships with academic and nonacademic leaders of the institution is crucial for fostering collaboration and effective communication. The role is designed for someone who can work independently under general supervision and is capable of managing large projects or assignments effectively. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Purdue University's institutional structure, including its academic and nonacademic components.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with academic and nonacademic leaders of the institution.
  • Basic computer skills.
