About the position

The Strategic Operations Project Manager SME - Agile & Jira at AMDEX is responsible for leading and managing complex projects within Cyber Security operational processes. This role focuses on operationalizing CISA resources in support of CIRCIA, utilizing Agile methodologies and Jira for project management. The position involves building Jira dashboards, training project teams, and automating project status reporting for leadership. The manager will also lead scrums, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build Jira dashboards and train internal project teams on their use.
• Automate the production of project status information for leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Lead recurring scrums for multiple projects and mentor project team members.
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues promptly, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing complex projects using Agile methodologies and Jira.
• CSM Certification or similar.
• Expertise in Jira, leveraging its full potential for project management.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
