About the position

The Strategic Operations Specialist plays a crucial role within the Strategic Operations, Industry Affairs Team at Zillow Group. This team is dedicated to strategic projects that focus on Retention, Content Acquisition, and the Adoption of ShowingTime+ products and services. The Specialist will conduct outreach, deliver presentations both in person and virtually, and showcase the overall value proposition to key industry partners. The primary goal is to secure agreements, retain existing agreements, acquire new content, and foster the adoption of ShowingTime+ products and services. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing multiple projects and initiatives by evangelizing on behalf of ShowingTime+ and Zillow Group. This includes conducting in-market and virtual outreach to Brokers, MLSs, Associations, Agents, and Industry Partners to retain, acquire, and drive product adoption. You will host webinars and in-person presentations to further business goals, conduct training and onboarding, and work one-on-one with business partners. Additionally, you will attend conferences, meetings, and industry events on behalf of ShowingTime+ and Zillow Group, proactively connect and partner with various internal teams, and communicate regional metrics to management and stakeholders. The position is categorized as remote, allowing employees to work from a physical location of their choice within the U.S. The role requires up to 30% in-market travel, emphasizing the need for flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. The compensation includes a competitive base salary and eligibility for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-market and virtual outreach to Brokers, MLSs, Associations, Agents, and Industry Partners to retain, acquire, and drive product adoption.
  • Host webinars and in-person presentations to further business goals.
  • Conduct training/onboarding and work one-on-one with business partners.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events on behalf of ShowingTime+ and Zillow Group.
  • Proactively connect and partner with various internal teams including Broker, MLS and Association Industry Affairs teams, as well as Broker and MLS Development Teams.
  • Occasionally host full team meetings, huddles, and project meetings.
  • Communicate regional metrics and present to management and stakeholders.
  • Work with peers to de-escalate and find solutions to issues.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding and experience with the real estate industry.
  • Active real estate license is a plus.
  • 1 year + creating and facilitating training content.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and perform at a high level.
  • Motivated to get results and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Organized, creative, and comfortable with ambiguity but driven to create clarity.
  • Adaptable, able to work on multiple projects or change priorities if necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on virtual communications (Zoom, Google Meetups, etc.) being a bonus.
  • Familiarity with business support software applications such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, Tableau, Zendesk, Asana, etc.
