About the position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative for Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for closing sales and winning new business within a defined territory. In your daily activities, you will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from established internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You will manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, documenting each stage and ensuring a smooth implementation of the solutions you sell. Responsibilities

  • Close sales and win new business within a defined territory.
  • Attend training programs and collaborate with sales teams to sell human resources solutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision-makers.
  • Set appointments and gather leads from internal partners.
  • Assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions.
  • Manage multiple sales processes through various stages until implementation.
  • Cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and ADP ambassador to clients and internal partners.

Requirements

  • Positive self-starter with an upbeat and persistent style.
  • Ability to cold call and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of closing sales.
  • Ability to manage a territory and build relationships with clients.
  • Three years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in field sales.
  • Military experience is a plus, showcasing skills in teamwork, resilience, and negotiation.
