About the position

The Strategic Partnerships Manager for YouTube Product Partnerships will play a crucial role in managing and evolving partnerships within the connected TV and consumer electronics landscape. This position involves representing the Living Room Product Partnerships team in various forums, communicating strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and drive business growth. The role requires a proactive approach to partnership development, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem.
  • Manage partnerships with entities and develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives.
  • Build Go-to-Market strategies to meet broader Google goals across industries.
  • Ideate and drive complex agreements with partners and renewals for existing partners.
  • Serve as the relationship manager for current existing agreements and help realize value from these partnerships.
  • Engage with internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in connected TV platforms and the consumer electronics hardware industry.
  • Experience deploying or distributing Over-the-Top (OTT) video applications on consumer electronic devices.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in developing customized term sheets and working with legal agreements.
  • Experience managing partnerships.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and assess business benefits.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
