About the position

Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is seeking a qualified Acquisition Logistics Manager, Journeyman to join our team at Tinker AFB, OK. The candidate will provide Contractor Support Services to the Navy's E-6 FST in the Strategic Planning department. This role is critical in providing logistics support analysis in support of Strategic Planning, ensuring that all logistics elements are effectively managed and optimized for operational success. The Acquisition Logistics Manager will perform maintenance planning and design interface functions, identifying the impact on life-cycle logistics planning, including changes to each logistic support element, associated requirement dates, and the impact on delivery and deployment schedules. In this position, the candidate will conduct supportability and technical analysis of operational Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements. This includes conducting research and analysis within the supply chain concerning elements of procurement, transportation, storage, handling, receiving, issuing, and delivery of material. The role also involves assessing and analyzing reliability, availability, supportability, and affordability requirements, developing viable alternatives to support program requirements. The Acquisition Logistics Manager will recommend changes to existing or prospective solutions and provide risk management assessments. Additionally, the candidate will respond to technical and logistics support analysis questions from fleet and other E-6 community personnel, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics support analysis in support of Strategic Planning

  • Conduct supportability and technical analysis of operational ILS requirements
  • Conduct research and analysis within the supply chain concerning procurement, transportation, storage, handling, receiving, issuing, and delivery of material
  • Assess and analyze reliability, availability, supportability, and affordability requirements
  • Develop viable alternatives in supporting program requirements
  • Recommend changes to existing or prospective solutions and provide risk management assessment
  • Respond to technical, logistics support analysis and supportability questions from fleet and other E-6 community personnel

Requirements

  • At least three (3) to ten (10) years in Acquisition Logistics Support /Maintenance Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, or a relevant discipline
  • High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
  • In-depth experience in conducting technical analysis of ILS requirements relating to configuration and inventory management applicable to the E-6 aircraft
  • Thorough familiarity with Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and currently hold or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
