About the position

The Strategic Planning and Organizational Assessment Lead is responsible for driving organizational change and improvement within Navy mission operations. This role involves leading a team to assess business processes, develop strategic plans, and optimize organizational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The consultant will work closely with senior government leadership to craft impactful strategic messages and support the transformation of practices within the Navy IT Portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in assessing organizational processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategic plans and organizational strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide strategic level thinking in support of senior government leadership.
  • Craft strategic messages for various levels of government leadership.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on business processes and design.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning and organizational assessments.
  • 3+ years of experience in Navy Programs operations.
  • Experience providing strategic level thinking in support of senior government leadership.
  • Ability to craft strategic messages for various levels of government leadership.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certification in Organizational Design, Change Management, or PMP.
