About the position

The Strategic Pricing Analyst at Canon Solutions America, Inc. is responsible for developing pricing strategies for Workplace Technologies & Services customers. This role involves building financial models for large-scale bids, supporting existing contracts, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate and timely customer proposals. The analyst will also present pricing solutions to senior leadership and sales teams, making strategic decisions to enhance profitability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops New Business pricing and guides pricing decisions.
• Calculates proposed ROI for Customer Opportunities, including RFPs, and articulates risks and requirements.
• Develops financial models for business transactions and RFPs for various clients.
• Executes comprehensive pricing strategies and provides solutions and recommendations.
• Identifies opportunities for change and implements price modifications, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Assesses and responds to customer terms and conditions for RFP responses.
• Populates customer's RFP submission template based on financial model inputs.
• Creates Contract Profiles for winning opportunities.
• Works with Business Operations and BPR Teams to create/update contracts and/or pricelists for order processing.
• Builds professional relationships with all departments in the workplace.
• Presents Pricing Solutions and Response Strategies to senior leadership and sales team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in pricing or financial analysis.
• High level of Business Acumen, including knowledge of P&L and finance support.
• Advanced MS Excel modeling experience, including pivot tables and vLookups.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong statistical and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter with sound decision-making abilities and high accuracy.
