About the position

The Strategic Pricing & Operations Analyst Intern role at GlobalFoundries is designed for students pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. This internship provides a meaningful work experience within the Strategic Finance & Operations function, where interns will engage with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and develop pricing strategies that drive revenue growth. The position emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities with executives, preparing interns for a successful career in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal controls over the pricing activities to ensure compliance.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders to analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior to make data-driven pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Monitor and evaluate pricing team performance, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Communicate pricing strategies and decisions to internal stakeholders and customers and ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Fluency in English (Written & Verbal).
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
• Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning & organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite - data analytics and modeling in Excel and presentation/visualization in PPT.
• Skill in using SQL, Python, Anaplan, etc. for advanced data analytics.
• Skill in using Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization.
