About the position

The Strategic Program Manager at SAP will focus on managing large-scale, high-risk accounts within the AME region, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. This role involves overseeing strategic customer engagements, coordinating with various stakeholders, and driving cloud transformation initiatives to maximize customer success. The manager will utilize SAP's Activate project management methodology to lead cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to project quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Strategic Customer Engagements directly.
  • Sponsor of Strategic Customer Strategy.
  • Define a Framework on best practices and the GCE&S Cloud Transformation to support the region.
  • Liaise and coordinate with regional/global Customer Success stakeholders.
  • Proactively solve problems with a customer-first mindset.
  • De-escalate customer issues by structuring and bringing management's attention to major incidents.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in finance, commerce, engineering, information technologies, computer science, MBA or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, including SAP Activate and SAP Solution Manager.
  • Proactive attitude in managing stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to command attention and respect of senior leaders and present to large audiences.
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification or other project management certifications are desirable.
  • Knowledge of functional business processes such as Logistics or Finance.
