About the position

The Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) Analyst at Champion Petfoods is a key role focused on driving sustainable profitable growth through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. This position involves supporting the SRM strategy, analyzing promotional efficiencies, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the company's market position. The analyst will work closely with various teams to ensure effective execution of SRM initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support SRM strategy and priority initiatives design and value growth delivery in line with Champion Petfoods Demand strategy.
  • Deep focus on promotion strategy, promotion budgets, and promotion efficiencies.
  • Leverage analytics to identify value growth opportunities.
  • Support SRM Lead in preparing commercial scenarios leveraging advanced analytics and category insights.
  • Propose and ensure clear execution guidelines across SRM levers with Sales and Marketing.
  • Prepare monthly SRM Councils with SRM Lead Manager and key stakeholders.
  • Drive SRM opportunity identification in collaboration with cross-functional teams and track SRM performance.
  • Build the playbook on promotion and trade promotion guidelines, focusing on ROI and trial.
  • Assess Brand/Customer/Channel performance and identify key levers and actions to improve.
  • Track competitor and leading CPG companies' SRM strategies and identify areas of opportunity.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a CPG company as a data or business analyst preferred.
  • Economics background with experience in a data-driven environment preferred.
  • Ability to derive insights from analyses and shape recommendations considering objectives and business environment.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with broader commerce teams and act as a sparring partner.
  • Comfortable challenging/defining solutions when relevant.
  • Superior data & analytics skills, including the ability to implement data collection systems and automate analysis solutions.
  • Solid business/financial acumen and value-driven mindset.
  • Core Marketing, Sales & Product understanding.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with trade promotion management systems.
