About the position

The Strategic Risk Manager at Kinetic Advantage LLC is responsible for assessing and managing customer risk levels based on their performance, credit data, and borrowing needs. This role focuses on risk identification and mitigation to minimize loan portfolio delinquency while fostering strong relationships with dealers to enhance business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Kinetic Advantage policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring adherence to assigned areas.
  • Apply experience and lessons-learned to create or modify work methods related to portfolio risk indicators and overall partner experience.
  • Build trust and develop relationships over the phone while effectively communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Interact with delinquent dealers and coordinate action plans to mitigate risk with Field Partners and Field Leaders.
  • Drive exceptional problem-solving skills to understand severity and potential risk situations within various scenarios.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Field Operations, Lending, Collateral Audits, and Remarketing, to achieve portfolio management goals.
  • Provide support to Kinetic Select dealer representatives and Field Risk Directors through dealer health analysis, cash flow and financial statement analysis, and behavioral review.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years in automotive, collections, or financial services industry required.
  • Familiarity with concepts, procedures, and processes typically used in automotive and financial services industries, particularly in delinquent account collections.
  • Ability to read and understand basic financial statements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Strong written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and prioritize.
