WP Engine is seeking a motivated Strategic Sales Development Representative (SSDR) who will play a crucial role in establishing, fostering, and maintaining relationships with both highly technical and leadership-level contacts. This position is pivotal as the SSDR serves as the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for generating lead volume and warm introductions for our acquisition and agency teams. The ideal candidate will be creative, passionate, and an ambitious teammate, eager to advance through a clearly defined learning and earning path. In this role, you will be tasked with researching and cataloging contact, account, and opportunity information. You will work as part of a selling team focused on attracting net-new business to WP Engine and fostering upgrades for our self-service customers. Building relationships with prospects will be essential, allowing them to understand the value of our WordPress solutions. You will utilize effective sales techniques to uncover customer needs that can be addressed through our solutions and articulate the benefits of using our offerings across various industries. Your goal will be to schedule quality meetings and opportunities to consistently overachieve your quota. This is a hybrid role, requiring visits to our Austin or Omaha office a few times per month for ongoing education.
