We are seeking a Strategic Sales Manager for our Plains, PA Storefront location. This role is critical within Clopay National Accounts, where the individual will focus on building relationships with prospective customers, maintaining ties with existing clients, and identifying opportunities for cross-sales and closing deals. As a member of our National Account Sales Team, the Strategic Sales Manager will collaborate closely with experienced Sales Operations and Project Managers to assist with key account projects throughout the sales process. The Strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing the business unit's revenue through new national account acquisition and developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers. This position requires following industry trends to identify new sales opportunities and effectively communicating the CSSI/Clopay National Account market proposition. The manager will need to accurately interpret clients' needs and propose suitable solutions while managing the sales process from lead generation to successful closing and follow-up sales activities. Additionally, the role involves identifying new sales growth solutions, services, or partnerships that complement CSSI/Clopay National Accounts offerings. The Strategic Sales Manager will prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for submission to clients in support of new business pitches and opportunities. Documentation of daily growth through an established CRM system is also essential. The manager will work closely with internal operations teams to optimize the sales process from the first customer contact and ensure smooth delivery of client services in line with customer expectations. This position may be home-based, with a requirement to travel over 25% of the time to meet client needs and for regular visits to the company's headquarters in Plains, PA.
