About the position

The Strategic Sales Manager at Concorde Specialty Gases Inc. is responsible for driving the company's growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and customer relationship management. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring customer satisfaction while pursuing new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue new sales prospects, negotiate contracts and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Build detailed sales forecasts.
  • Meet profitability targets.
  • Coordinate marketing and advertising initiatives with the Director of Marketing.
  • Own the relationship with key clients, including OEMs and contracted utilities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and conferences.
  • Gather feedback from customers and prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Build pricing strategies based on inventory and procurement activity.
  • Travel to customer sites to further enhance partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales management or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.
