About the position

The Strategic Sales Manager at EarthCam is responsible for driving new business opportunities, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors. This role requires a results-oriented individual who can influence decision-making, present compelling recommendations, and effectively communicate with partners and senior leaders. The position involves utilizing CRM tools for tracking customer interactions, leading product demonstrations, and attending industry events to foster relationships and close new leads.

Responsibilities

  • Present and influence decision-making of concepts, business rationale and key findings to partners and senior leaders
  • Craft clear, compelling recommendations supported by strong analysis and business logic
  • Hunt for new business opportunities including the tourism/hospitality vertical
  • Develop, identify and close new leads
  • Use CRM tools to document and track progress and communication cadence with each customer
  • Schedule and lead product demos with prospects
  • Attend industry events, both locally and nationally

Requirements

  • Results-focused, detail-oriented mindset
  • Experience in building B2C-site experiences by digging into customer needs, research, and data
  • Self-starter with a consistent record of successfully kick-starting new initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization and with partners
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Familiarity with experience design, including customer validation techniques, user research, usability testing, and journey mapping
  • Ability to handle several initiatives and shift priorities as needed
  • 2+ years B2C experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous experience in tourism, commercial real estate, hospitality, or international business
  • Experience thriving in a commission-driven environment
  • Organized, energetic, professional, ambitious and dynamic individual
