About the position
Redaptive is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Business Analyst to optimize operational processes through data, systems, and tools. This role focuses on leveraging technology solutions, implementing efficient systems, and driving automation initiatives to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational systems and tools, along with analytical and problem-solving skills. The position reports to the Head of Strategic Sourcing and aims to improve energy efficiency and sustainability for clients.
Responsibilities
- Partner with key teams to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with sourcing operations.
- Ensure systems and tools are well integrated and optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Onboard and ramp up new hires.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct research and analyze business data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimized models.
- Prepare comprehensive business requirement documents (BRD) and functional specifications.
- Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating communication and alignment.
- Work with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Assist with system testing and validation of new features to meet business needs.
- Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports using data visualization tools.
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in operational systems and tools, such as ERP systems and data analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for system implementation and data management.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to build effective relationships and communicate across all organizational levels.
- Highly motivated, team-oriented, and organized with exceptional follow-through.
Nice-to-haves
- Master of Business Administration or another graduate-level business degree.
- Experience with building energy systems (e.g., HVAC, Lighting, solar).
- Experience within startups in the Energy and Sustainability industry.
- Proficient in Tableau and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Visio.
