About the position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Logistics at Mars is responsible for overseeing the procurement processes related to logistics. This role focuses on developing and implementing sourcing strategies that optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for logistics procurement.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to logistics sourcing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in logistics.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts.
• Proficiency in data analysis and market research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
