Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is responsible for managing procurement events across all entities of the organization. This role involves providing guidance on business processes, conducting needs analysis, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relations. The manager will oversee various service lines, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and establishing business cases for purchases.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and project management of procurement events for all Roswell entities.
• Provide business and process guidance to internal customers.
• Conduct business needs analysis and total cost analysis.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relations.
• Educate business owners on procurement policies and procedures.
• Establish business cases, business plans, and ROI on purchases.
• Oversee service lines including Research, Clinical, Lab, Nursing, Perioperative Services, and Imaging.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field and four years of progressive supply chain experience; or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields and six years of experience.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or related certifications.
