About the position

The Business Analyst will be a key member of the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement IT team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software solutions that enhance the procurement application portfolio. This role focuses on improving operational effectiveness and facilitating profitable change through collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams to identify opportunities for business system advancements.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to connect IT teams with business and capability teams.
• Develop knowledge networks for effective collaboration among integrated teams.
• Conduct detailed analysis on system processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead initiatives for profitable change.
• Write business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, test plans, and estimates.
• Build trusted relationships with business partners, IT teams, and leadership.
• Prioritize and resolve ServiceNow incidents to ensure effective operation of procurement business systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procure to pay, inventory management, or inbound supply chain using complex ERP systems.
• Experience with implementation projects and support activities.
• Ability to work a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and applying them to system solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL for writing queries and working with complex data models.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Experience writing SQL scripts.
• Full project life cycle implementation experience.
• Experience with multiple ERPs consolidating data within Ariba.
• Experience implementing reporting solutions using Ariba APIs.
